Fine Tussah Silk Yarn
 
One of the most beautiful yarns I've seen in a long time, this new Tussah Silk Yarn has the flecks and subtle variations of a natural fibre.  It's so soft!  Despite being so fine, and a single strand, it's quite strong too.
 
I knew this was going to be very fine when I ordered it, but as a weaver, I sometimes use 2 shuttles with different yarns.  As a spinner, I'll use this for plying.  I'll also chain ply it to create a 3 strand yarn.  I can't say no to a gorgeous natural silk like this.
