A rich chocolate brown (natural) colour Handspun Peduncle Silk Yarn that's soft and strong, with a low sheen.
 
I think it would be suitable for a warp yarn.  I do love a handspun warp!  It's soft enough for weaving (warp and weft) and would also be suitable for knitting.
