Handspun Tussah Ghicha Silk

I love this silk for the variations in colour and texture. It's a favourite weft yarn of mine. Because of the changes in tone and colour, it makes any creation interesting and unique. Last photos show a scarf I made with a wool warp, some mohair for a bit of colour, and this handspun Tussah silk as the weft. The lady loves it!

Put this handspun Tussah Silk with a plain yarn, and it just pops out and grabs your attention. At first, the silk can seem a little not-so-soft, but that changes with washing and as it's worn.

There's at least 2000m per skein.

Non-superwash.
