Handwoven Madder Red Noil Silk Scarf
 
The Mulberry Noil Silk yarn used in this scarf is naturally dyed with madder.  Such a rich colour!
 
Woven with a double stranded warp gives the scarf a beautiful drape.  A few colourful 'highlights' off the selvages really lifts the piece.
 
Finished with an interesting fringe of fine twisted tassels, loosely plaited strands, and ends that are left as threads that naturally twist with each other, just to be a little different.
 
It's so lovely and soft, drapes beautifully, and can be worn all year round. 
 
I love Mulberry Noil Silk.  It's one of my favourite yarns.
